Shanna Gu is an associate lawyer at Narwal Litigation LLP. Her practice focuses on criminal trials and appeal work at all levels of court across Canada. She is licensed to practice in British Columbia and Ontario.
Ms. Gu represents individuals in a wide range of matters including immigration fraud, securities litigation, criminal organization charges, drug trafficking, sexual assault, and cross-border litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Gu articled with a top criminal defence lawyer in downtown Toronto, where she gained invaluable knowledge and rigorous training in criminal law.
Ms. Gu is deeply committed to advancing diversity and equity. She serves on the Advocacy Committee of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers Society (FACL BC) and is a member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association. Recognized as a fellow of the prestigious FACL BC Leadership Academy, Ms. Gu is dedicated to fostering a more inclusive and equitable legal landscape.
Ms. Gu holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of British Columbia. Before attending law school, Ms. Gu completed an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and graduated with distinction.
